Advantages of Living in Dormitory

When I enter in college, I chose living in dormitory. Living in dormitory is one of the wonderful experiences in the university life. Because there are three advantages of experiences I can get from dormitory life: close, improving friendship, and learning team life.
One directive advantage is that I will not worry about the traffic problem. Chang Gung University which is called CGU provides one hundred percent of bedroom for all students, so every student has the decision choosing to live in dormitory. Living in dormitory of university can save time and money. Due to close to school, I do not waste time waiting for public transportation neither the traffic jam. I also do not have spend money on transportation. If I forget to bring my textbook or homework, I can run back to dormitory to take them without using a lot of time. Therefore, close to school can make me save both time and money and easy to make up for my caeless.
A second advantage is that I can quickly identify myself with my college classmates. Owing to living and eating together, we have more time to get along with each other than some people who live at home. Living in the same building, I can easily find the help from my classmates who live in dormitory. For example, I can ask my classmates for teaching me homework. We also can discuss the report. Despite the well development of Internet, I think that face-to-face discussion is more effective than using MSN. Another improving my friendship with my classmates is watching movie in dormitory. We usually watch the movie in front of the computer together. The most types of movies we watch are horror movie and comedy. We shriek together and laugh together. It is a wonderful time in dormitory when sharing happy with my classmates.
A third advantage is that I can learn the team life from living in dormitory. There are four people sharing the one room. Every one have different habit in life. The most important thing I learn from that is respecting. Because of sharing the space, I have to care others’ sensation. I do not make noise to bother my roommates, I wear the earphones when I listen to the music. Keeping the good environment is each of us have to obey. The other thing I learn is to use bathroom in turn. There is one bathroom in each room, so we line up for using bathroom. I must learn waiting in patience. Living in dormitory, I have to think other people’s feeling.
In short, living in dormitory can make my university-life colorful and fruitful. I make good friends with which I play and study. I can spend my time on other meaningful things. I also learn how to get along with others in one space. I believe that it is a good opportunity to expand my view of life and a process to make my mentality more mature.

Taroko Gorge

There is a gorge in Taroko Gorge that is the most beautiful scene in Taiwan. At Taroko Gorge, there are hot springs, caves, and waterfalls. For example, when I see water falling straight down into a long river in front of me, that is really spectacular! Also, what impresses me most are the springs from the caves. They are clean, pure, like seasonable rain falling everywhere. Although Taroko is extremely beautiful, I was told to avoid going to the area when the weather is bad, in case of getting slipped or landslide. Anyway, in addition to natural spots, there are other attractions to notice, such as aboriginal villages, temples, special local product etc. Of course, we can release our pressure there, and I can enrich my spirit.

How to Impress a Boy/Girl on a First Day(my senior high school HW)

It’s a romantic and exciting moment that boys and girls or ladies and gentlemen meet each others on a first date. Here are some suggestions for you to impress a boy/girl. First, you might need to take a shower or take a bath to make yourself relaxed. Next, make sure your hair, face and teeth are clean and especially make your dressing appropriate to let people get along with you easily. Then, when you two meet face to face, remember to smile nicely. Finally, no matter what atmosphere you two make and have, be careful to chat something you two are interested in and you share in common. After that, I think it’s simple for you to make a good impression on a first date when meeting a boy/girl.

The Person I Admire Most

The person I admire most is Diana. Diana was always a beautiful, happy, young mother in photos. But, was she really happy?
Diana was born on July 1, 1961, at Sandringham in England. Her family was really rich and was made up of a mother, a father, two older sisters and one younger brother. When she was eight, her parents divorced. Her father married a new wife in 1975 and Diana was unhappy with that. Then, she moved to Althrop with her father and stepmother.
She wasn’t good at school work, but she likes young children, playing games, swimming, running and dancing. So when she was sixteen, she worked in schools for very young children in London. After that, she met Charles, and then she decided to married him in London on July 29, 1981. At first, they were happy with their life and got two sons. But, Diana finally found out Charles always talked to his old girlfriend, Camilla, all the time. Diana became unhappy and ill. So, she decided not to live with Charles in 1992 and she divorced him in 1996. Although their marriage was broken, they both loved their children. And Diana spent lots of time with children. She spent lots of time helping the poor with her love, too. Because of her kindness, everyone loved her. Everyone called her People’s Queen, because she had the ability to make everybody feel special, including the vulnerable young people who were touched by her warmth and affection. Also, she was the head of many charities.
Unfortunately, Diana, Princess of Wales, died after a car crash in Paris on August 31, 1997. Hundreds of mourners have gathered at the princess’ London home, Kensington Palace and many have laid flowers at the gates. Isn’t she a big hero? I love her, forever and ever!
